A note from our founders

Hey, we're Rishi, Abhi, and Vedant, the founders of Opennote.

College is hard. Many students and learners—including us—face the challenge of comprehending college curriculums due to the complex concepts being taught, missed lectures because of schedule conflict, or the pace at which the material is being presented. Limited time and resources of educators only exacerbates this issue.

We've witnessed how difficult it is to be an effective teacher, and we've all worked in the edtech space before. Yet we never saw a truly personal and extensive solution for the troubles that so many students encouter.

We started Opennote with friends as a hackathon project aimed at fixing this problem. After launching our startup with our hackathon teammates, we saw its potential for real impact and kept expanding.

We don’t ever want to replace teachers, but rather provide the tools that students can use to succeed in their classes. We want to make sure that we're doing it in a way that's accessible to everyone, and we're hoping we can even help teachers along the way.

We believe that a good education should be accessible to everyone, and the experiences that we strive to provide with Opennote are why we keep building, hoping to put Opennote at the forefront of educational AI.

If you're here for the first time, welcome, we're glad to have you. And for those that have tried Opennote out, thank you for being a part of our journey. We're excited to be building this with you.
