The World is Your Classroom

Today, we're announcing DeepTutor, our system to provide a high-quality education with the web at your fingertips. DeepTutor conducts significant research into your queries, providing you with highly accurate, exemplified, and teachable responses to queries across any difficulty or subject. DeepTutor has already excelled at queries ranging from Japanese Verb Structure to Quantum Mechanics, and we're excited to see where it goes from here.

We believe that everyone should have access to this quality of learning, however, DeepTutor is still in its early stages. As such, we're allowing one free query per day for all users, and unlimited queries available for paid users. DeepTutor is available today on Opennote.

We look forward to seeing you there.

How Does It Work?

Agentic AI has finally reached a state where hallucination can be mitigated through a variety of strategies, prevalently, search. DeepTutor uses a combination of recursive search and inference, with a series of fine-tuned Open-Source Models served through our partner, Groq, to conduct expert-level research into your questions.

Chaining these fine-tuned agents together allows us to preserve context and improve accuracy, while also focusing various agents at various areas, such as teaching, summarizing, researching, or even initial planning. Similar to Feynman, DeepTutor is built on a highly layered architecture, allowing for a variety of content types and data to be processed in one place.

We're still actively working on and rolling out more functionality (so stay tuned for those), such as images, file context, and interactivity, but DeepTutor is a step in the right direction to make AI-powered education more accessible, personalized, and human-like than ever before.

Our mission is to provide a personal learning experience, and, just like Feynman, DeepTutor is reflective of that. DeepTutor is ready to be integrated to learn from you, and provide you with the same caliber of education you'd expect from a personal tutor.

Runtime Statistics

DeepTutor is one of the fastest Deep Research agents available today, with an average response time of 20 seconds to synthesize 10-15 high-quality sources, parse webpages, generate comprehensive lesson plans and summaries, and finally provide you the content. We're also proud to make DeepTutor our first real-time model, with the goal of making Opennote a more "live" platform as users interact with it.

We're hoping DeepTutor can reinvent the edtech industry and how you learn, and we're excited to see how you all use it.
