# Reinventing AI Powered Education Most AI-powered interfaces are missing something, whether that be interactivity, multimodality, or plain _teachability_. > # Teachability: The ability to learn by instruction. We've been building to combat that, with extensive research into the student market, preaching interactivity at every turn, and building a system that's meant to instruct, not just provide answers. Today, we're launching Feynman, our new state-of-the-art system for educational inference. Implemented with our multi-layer architecture, Feynman is built to support functionalities that many foundational models are yet to achieve, including long-term multimodal inference and understanding. Additionally, it's integrated with the interactivity that students expect, promoting learning for learning's sake, over pure solution accuracy that doesn't teach. ## Pure Interactivity Matching foundational models that have the capability to generate a variety of content, Feynman is built to go beyond. We're supporting the following out-of-the-box: - Text-to-Video - Graph Generation - Runnable Code (Python, Java, C/C++, Rust, JavaScript, and TypeScript) - Canvas Inference (Whiteboards, Graphs) - Two-Way Interaction (Graphs) We're also working on the following functionalities, slated to launch _very soon_: - Web Browsing and Sourcing Data - Two-Way Interaction (Whiteboards) - Image Generation (Beyond Graph Content) - Longer, Better, and More Personalized Videos - Code Inference and Direct Editing

## Multimodal Inference We've rebuilt our entire chat system to integrate with Feynman, allowing for a more seamless experience between our services. With Opennote XML (OXML), we're able to handle a variety of content types and data in one place. ```xml Hello! ``` By integrating various OXML layers into our chat system, Feynman feels naturally interactive within its content types. ### Actions Within our chat structure, Feynman is able to perform actions. These currently include interactions with Desmos on our Canvas, and running code within our code editor. However, we're also working on upgrades to this system that will be rolling out soon, including: 1. Whiteboarding, Flowcharts, Drawing 2. Agentic Code Editing and Note Taking 3. Problems, Quizzes, and Tests With various "mini-Feynman" agents, we're able to give students the chance to look beyond the text and images, and _feel_ their lesson come to life.

## Limitations Feynman is not perfect, and we're working on improving it every day. We're aware of the following limitations: - Feynman may misunderstand certain queries intended for graphs to be explanations, and vice versa. - Feynman cannot yet achieve 100% accuracy in all subjects or those that are not well documented - While we've made efforts with various guard layers to prevent malicious requests, we're still working with providers and rate limits to ensure that these strategies are always active to protect students on our platform. _Please note that misuse of Feynman can result in a ban from our platform, and is taken incredibly seriously._ ## Looking Forward With Feynman, our goal is to provide a world-class personal education at a fraction of the cost, while improving accuracy and providing better responses to students. All the while, we're also working to integrate with teacher's workflows in the classroom (something that's coming soon), and providing insights to parents and educators about their student's learning habits.
